About Bear Fruit Photo

Welcome to Bear Fruit Photo Co. I'm Sarah Ballew (pronounced bah-loo like the bear), the Christian homeschooling mom of 4 teens that's behind the camera. I'm leaning back into my passions now that my kids are older and more independent, and photography has been a love of mine since I got my first Polariod back in the 1900s. I also love all things design: interior design, space planning, graphic design, party planning, stylized shoots, etc. I'm a big fan of cheese, my hubby of 20 years, Christ, and the comment section of TikTok (not in that order). I'm a creative, up-at-all-hours-of-the night, detail-oriented, silly goose that catches the giggles type. 

 

I specialize in senior and family portraits, non-traditional yearbook/school pictures, and sports photography. My goal for every shoot is truly capture the vibes - of you and of the moment, to highlight the depth that lives in the details, to give you the moment in all its fullness to take with you into forever. What a privilege and joy it is that we get to celebrate, reminisce, relish in and share pieces of our lives, and the extraordinary people in them, through photos. It's truly incredible to be able to pause and hold time in our hands and feel all the feels all over again. My hope is that I can do justice to the beauty and power of your moments and that the making of my art, from the makings of your heart, is a cherished investment throughout the generations.
